FoundGPT scores your store across 21 readiness criteria covering content quality, structured data, llms.txt, and metafield completeness. It then auto-fixes the gaps — titles, descriptions, schema, alt text — and generates an llms.txt that tells AI crawlers exactly what your store sells. It also tracks which AI engines mention you. We make your store eligible to be recommended; we cannot force any AI engine to pick you, and we do not claim otherwise.

Do I need a custom domain?
Yes. AI engines cite your store by its canonical URL. If you are still on your-store.myshopify.com, AI citations are technically possible but rarely happen. Connecting a custom domain is the single biggest unlock — and it is something we will flag during onboarding.
How is this different from regular SEO?
Traditional SEO targets Google rankings — keywords, backlinks, page speed. AI search works differently: AI engines summarize multiple sources and cite the ones with structured, factual, citation-friendly content. FoundGPT optimizes for the second.
